[In Mr Shippon's room]"Ok... how can I help you?" asked Mr Shippon.
"There are some things that the police need your assistance" said Utsumi
"Ok..May I know who this gentleman is?" asked Mr shippon.
"I am Yukawa Manabu,Professor teaching in Teito University," replied Yukawa.
"Oh! Mr Yukawa! The genius physician! I am so hourned to meet you!" exclaimed Mr Shippon.
Mr Shippon handed them his namecard.
"I heard that Mr Yukawa held a talk in London last month..My friend said it is really inspiring!...Its a pity that I could not attend it...personal stuffs.." said Mr Shippon.
Utsumi felt that Mr Shippon is hiding something...
Hmm..I think I am just being oversensitive,thought Utsumi.
"Ah..Thank You for having intrest in my talk,: said Yukawa,smiling
Utsumi felt the smile is rather cold...
"The talk is really fastinating...er..by the way my friend discribe it..It does help me alot..."
"I mean as a doctor it is very inspiring too!" backtracking Mr shippon smiling.
Yukawa stared at Mr Shippon for a few seconds and stood up.
"Thank you, I think I got to leave now,goodbye." said Mr Yukawa, curtly
"Wha..What??" said Utsumi,eyes widening
"Erm..I am so sorry, he is always like that..er... thank you for taking time today...
though I have not ask anything yet ..We got to leave..Thank You.."
Said Utsumi and left the room after Yukawa
"Yukawa sensei!! Wait up!!!" Called Utsumi
The nurses at the counter looked at her.
"opps,sorry!" whispered Utsumi, embrassed.
[Outside the hospital]
"Yukawa Sensei!!!" shouted Utsumi
Yukawa then stop at his tracks and slowly turned around.
"Can't you just wait up?!" snapped Utsumi,fuming
"Ah.." replied Yukawa
"And it is rude of you to just leave like that! Moreover I had not asked anything out of him yet!" scolded Utsumi
"Hmm..." replied Yukawa,looking at Utsumi,deep in thoughts not hearing a word she said.
"OII!! Are you even listening?!?!" snapped Utsumi,waving her hands in his face.
"Yes,I am listening,but there is something that I just cant figure out.." said Yukawa
"...wait, that means that you have found out something?" asked Utsumi
"Ah,yes," said Yukawa
"But first,lets get back to the lab first. Its freezing here."

[Back in Teito University,Physics Lab No.13]"There's something not right about the house,"said Yukawa.
"Yeah, I noticed that too but I couldn't pinpoint what it was," agreed Utsumi thoughtfully.
Suddenly, Utsumi's cellphone rang.
Utsumi picked up the phone "Utsumi speaking, ... ... oh ... oh ... thank you very much."
"The forensic department had called and the results are out, " said Utsumi.
"They had confirmed that it is a piece of medicine chipped off and they have found huge quantities of __________(for heart attack) in it and some other substance in it. They suspect it was those medicine that are sold in black markets that are harmful to health."
Yukawa thought for a moment and he began to see the "truth".
He took a piece of chalk, rushed to the blackboard and started scribbling on it.
Flashes of memories flooded in his mind.
"I know how the body had turned into a skeleton."
"But first, I need to visit the factory which is near the scene of crime," added Yukawa.
"But... ..." stuttered Utsumi, looking confused.
"And if you check further, you would find that Misa Nagashi have relatives and many other people who were in close contact with her.
"How did you know?" asked Utsumi.
"Just do as I say," said Yukawa.
"Okay," said Utsumi, irritably.
"Always like this, either "
I had not fully confirmed yet" or "
it is still in hypothesis stage so I can't tell you, " thought Utsumi frowning to herself when she drove to the police station.
[At the police station]"Sigh... How am I going to track down who is Misa Nagashi's unknown relatives or anyone that was close to her, without any clue?" mumbled Utsumi, to herself.
With another sigh, Utsumi began her investigations.
[On the other hand] Yukawa went to visit the scene of crime again.
He looked at the patch of stains and estimated how far it was from the factory that Utsumi had said.
[Many days later]A tired-looking Utsumi walked into Yukawa's lab.
"I've finally found someone related to misa Nagashi; how did you know that she has a nephew?" asked a tired but satisfied Utsumi.
"Well, I do not know," replied Yukawa, sipping his cup of coffee.
"Huh?! But ..." spluttered Utsumi, puzzled.
"I'm just making some things up so that you would not disturb me while I am conducting my hypothesis," replied Yukawa.
"WHAT?!?!" screamed Utsumi, flaring up.
"Well, anyway there are some results, right?" reasoned Yukawa.
"Yes, but... ..." retorted Utsumi.
"Well then, I guess this fits!" exclaimed Yukawa.
"Why did the neighbors say that Misa Nagashi do not have any relatives and nobody visits her and then this nephew suddenly comes out from nowhere?"
"Huh?" asked Utsumi, puzzled.
"How did you find this nephew?" asked Yukawa.
"Well, MIsa Nagashi's skeleton was placed in the mortuary for days and nobody came to collect it, so the police posted a notice on the paper and the media in search for any relatives," said Utsumi.
"After a few days, Mr Shippon came and claimed that he was her nephew and made a big fuss," said Utsumi with a sigh.
"And I had a hard time calming him down."
"But I feel that something was wrong with that Mr Shippon when he showed me a photo of his aunt..."
"But what is wrong..." said Utsumi thoughtfully.
"Hmm..." thought Yukawa.
"Oh, yah! I've found out some stuff when I was searching up on her!" exclaimed Utsumi.
"At that hospital that she was sent to when she fainted, I found that she had done a blood test 2 years ago. Her blood type was one of the rarest blood type... ... Para-Bombay," said Utsumi.
Yukawa's face fell and looked stern.
"Umm... .. is there anything wrong," asked Utsumi, concerned.
"What's Mr Shippon's occupation?" asked Yukawa.
"Oh.. erm... he opens a private hospital in the rural area of Japan," replied Utsumi, puzzled.
"What is Mr Shppon's full name?" asked Yukawa, gravely.
"Chirohiro Shippon"
"... ...."
Yukawa sat down and started thinking, frowning.
Utsumi looked at him, " XD ... he's so cute when he's thinking like this! "
"!!!! What am I thinking!" thought Utsumi, blushing.
As Yukawa was deep in thoughts, Utsumi thought that she could practically hear his brilliant brain whirring frantically.
After a long period of silence, Yukawa suddenly let out a cry.
Utsumi jumped in shock and asked immediately, "What happened?"
"Hmm.. not yet .. but what if it's like that?
But... it couldn't be..." muttered Yukawa solemnly.
"Huh?" asked Utsumi. Yukawa ignored her and went on to do some research on the Internet.
"What happened?" Utsumi repeated, looking worried.
"Yeash. Found it," said Yukawa.
"What?"
"Take a look," said Yukawa, pointing to his laptop's screen.

Dec 17, 2005: Sadly, M² is not fully developed yet. It still seems to side effect. It eats the internal organs of the consumer but traces of flesh was not totally destroyed.
June 15, 2007: Yes! Today we are very pleased to inform you that we have improved M² but the only side-effects is that the flesh will disintegrate and all that's left is the skeleton.
Feb 7, 2008: We are glad to inform you that the Russian Government wants to buy our products!
March 30, 2008: We regret to inform you that the Russian Government had decided against the signing of the contract. This was because there were some other side-effects, which is M² only works when the victim inhale (gas chemical). But then would be very obvious.
July 16, 2008: We are sad to say that we have to close our factory for awhile.
Utsumi looked at Yukawa, speechless.
Yukawa said, "I think Mr CS is Mr Chirohiro Shippon"
"HUH??" Utsumi looked at Yukawa in shock.
"So, I think Mr Shippon is involved in illegal war weapon manfacturing," said Yukawa gravely.
"But those are still in a hypothesis stage though," said Yukawa, standing up.
Yukawa walked towards the door.
"Where are you going?" asked Utsumi.
"To prove my hypothesis"
[At Mr Shippon's private hospital]"Ma, this place is really creepy... ..." shuddered Utsumi, as she walked into the dark corridoor of the hospital.
"Just keep your volume down," implored Yukawa.
"Hi, what can I do for you?" sad a voice.
Utsumi gave a little squeak and clung onto Yukawa's arm.
"I am so sorry, did I startled you?" apologized the voice.
A man in white doctor robes appeared.
Utsumi sighed with relief.
"Oh, it's you! You are that pretty policewoman who comforted me yesterday!" exclaimed the man.
Utsumi squinted into the darkness and the man's feactures came into focus.
"Oh. Hi, Mr Shippon!"
"Hmm... so you are taken... I thought..." said Mr Shippon, eyeing Utsumi's hands on Yukawa's arm.
"Huh? ... Oh!" exclaimed Utsumi, quickly releasing her hands from his arm, blushing.
"She is not my girlfriend. And
Love, is just an illogical concept. I'll never like anyone so impulsive," said Yukawa, blushing a little.
"He is not my boyfriend too. I would never like such an eccentric and arrogant man!" said Utsumi, angry and hurt at his remark.
"Hahaha... ok.. so, Miss Utsumi. Can I help you in anything?" asked Mr Shippon.
Utsumi walked towards Mr Shippon while, swinging her handbag. It hit Yukawa hard on his arm.
"Erm... can we get to somewhere brighter first?" asked Mr Shippon.
"Ouch!" remarked Yukawa.
Utsumi turned and stuck her tongue at Yukawa.

[Back in Teito University,Physics Lab No.13]Yukawa was sitting at his seat.He looked at the bottle thoughtfully and wondered,
"Where have I smelt this before?"At that moment, Utsumi walked in. She stood near the door and saw Yukawa at his desk, deep in his thoughts.
"Omg..he looked soooo..oo..cute when he is thinking.." thought Utsumi.
When she realized what she was thinking, she slapped herself.
"Ahhh!! What am I thinking??"Utsumi walked towards him and asked, 'What are you holding?'
Startled,Yukawa asked, 'Since whe did you arrive?'
'I just arrived and saw you staring at the bottle...what is it?' asked Utsumi
'I found this at the crime scene,' replied Yukawa
'You shouldn't have taken it! You should have given it to the police!' exclaimed Utsumi
Yukawa looked at her and said 'I want to confirm some things first..The smell in it..seems familiar..'
Utsumi took the bottle and sniffed.
'Eww...it stinks!' said Utsumi, who then sneezed, and the physics professor looked at her.
'Have you caught a flu?'
'No...I guess I am just allergic to you!'
'Very funny,' remarked Yukawa sarcastically.
'Fine. Yes, I've caught the flu, happy? The chef police took my heat pack away.'
'Then why are you here for? This is not a clinic!'
'Fine, I'll go!' snapped Utsumi, turning to leave.
Yukawa wanted her to stay but did not say a word.
'Grrr...why is he not asking me to stay?' thought Utsumi.
Utsumi turned and glared at Yukawa, who seemed to be so focused on the bottle, he'd already forgotten she was still there.
Utsumi stormed out of the lab and slammed the door.
'What a petty woman she is,' thought Yukawa.

The physics professor stood up to make a cup of coffee. While adding sugar to his coffee, a thought suddenly struck him. He quickly called Utsumi.
[Several minutes later...]'What do you want me to do?' asked Utsumi.
'Send this to the forensic department and check what it is made of. I need to clarify some things,' replied Yukawa, handing her the bottle.
'But...this is just a bottle!'
'Look carefully and you will see a tiny piece of rock inside.'
'Huh?'
'It is not as simple as it looks. I think it is some medicine that has been chipped off. I need you to help me check what is it for and what it is made of.'
'Is it related to the case?'
Yukawa sighed at her slow observation and said, 'At the moment, I am not sure. It depends on the result first.'
'I will also need to take a look at Misa Nagashi's house,' added Yukawa.
[At Misa Nagashi's house]
'Hmmm...her house is really neat. Everything is categorised into many different sections,' remarked Yukawa, looking at the labels indicated on Misa Nagashi's cupboards.
'The police have seached her house for clues but it seems that they have not found anything,' said Utsumi.
Yukawa nodded and walked into the kitchen.
'Wow! She has everything that a high end kitchen have, and more!' exclaimed Yukawa, impressed.
'I suppose so,' agreed Utsumi.
'Oh, by the way, the police have checked her bank account. The amount of savings she has inside is just unbelievable!' gushed Utsumi.
'I'll say!'
'Huh? How do you know?'
Yukawa looked at her and shook his head.
'What?'
'With all these luxuries and a full culinary set, how can I not know?' said the physics professor matter-of-factly.
'...'
Yukawa looked around the house and although he found nothing, he still felt as though something was amiss.

Chapter 1'Yukawa Sensei!!'
"Ah..not again" thought Yukawa Manabu.
This is the nth time that he heard this voice calling for him this 2 years.
That is Utsumi Kaoru, a young impulsive policewoman.
Ever since Kusanagi introduce him to her,she had been asking him to help her in the police investigations.
Which he is not interested in.
'Yukawa Sensei,I am so glad that you have not left yet!' said Utsumi
'I have regretted on staying back for a little while' said Yukawa
Utsumi stuck out her tongue at him and continued
'Yukawa sensei, I have something that I can't solve it,can you help me? The police...'
'I am not interested in helping you.'
Yukawa interrupted and turned his back to her to make a cup of coffee.
Utsumi slammed her hand on to the cover of the coffee tin and glared at him.
Her hand was on top of his.
Yukawa felt a sudden shock that sends a tingling sensation to his heart.
The lab suddenly feels a little warmer.
Utsumi snatched the tin away and said
'Just listen to me first! The police had found a body or rather...'
Yukawa snatches back the tin of coffee and said
'You can say all you want but must you take my coffee away? Does it helps you to speak more fluently?'
'....'
'And I have told you that I am not interested.'
'But...you got to help me! Because nobody would believe this because it is impossible! How can a body be reduce into a skeleton in just half and hour?'
'Impossible? Nothing is impossible,In US an undertaker,Marie Deliton was pushing a dead body to the mortuary, when she felt a sudden urge to go to the toilet and when she came back,the body is gone and in replace is the clothes of the deceased which he was wearing at that moment.And in Indonesia,Mr Demerto was mourning for this dead wife in a funeral when he just left the side of the coffin to get a drink and when he return,he found the body gone and in replace there is a skeleton wearing his wife clothing and jewelleries..'said Yukawa.
Utsumi looked shocked but is pleased that Yukawa is finally interested in the case.
She thought
:" It had been such a long time since I last saw him..ever since that incident,I wanted to come and visit him but I have no excuses..."Utsumi's memory flashed back to a few months ago, to the scene when Ishigami, Yukawa's longtime friend and a mathematician genius, confess to his crime. When she went back to the visiting room, she saw Yukawa crying.It was the first time seeing 'Detective Galileo' cum physics genius crying.And at that moment she felt a sudden urge to rush forward to give him a hug and comfort him.
'so, where did the police found this disappearing body?' said Yukawa, interrupting her thoughts.
Utsumi blushed at the thought and told him the place,'and the police had found the skeleton's identity, It belongs to Misa Nagashi,a 65 years old lady.'
"Oh,it was the same area that Ishigami killed his victim.."thought Yukawa
"Ahh..what an idiot I am! I forget that is around the same area that Ishigami's victim was found! Ah!! Stupid,stupid,stupid!!" thought Utsumi, slapping her own head.
'What are you doing?' said Yukawa,trying not to thing about the incident.
'Ah? erm nothing..sorry,I did not notice that its the same area where...Ah!!! I am so sorry!!' Utsumi said and bow down her head.
'Oh, its ok..'said Yukawa.
'erm..Yukawa sensei, are you ok?'
'what do you mean by this?'
'ermm..nothing..'
'just say it'
'Are you feeling better now? I know that incident had caused you alot of pain and if you need help or anything, you can come to me.I can help you! Or if you need a crying shoulder,I can lend you mine!' Utsumi blurt out and immediately regret it.
She felt the lab is getting warmer and warmer...
She lift her head upwards abit and took a peek at the back of Yukawa's newly frozen form.
'Oh,erm..It's ok' said Yukawa, thinking to himself that he will need to lower down the temperature of the air conditioner or he must get someone to fix it as it maybe malfunctioning....
'Yukawa sensei ......'
'.....'
'so,what else did the police managed to find about this Misa Nagashi?'said Yukawa,trying to ease the tense atmosphere.
'oh..err..Mdm Misa Nagashi lives alone and it was said that she did not have any relatives.She rarely talk to her neighbours too.According to Mrs Yasaki,one of her neighbour,that Mdm Nagashi is quite rich.This is because Mrs Yasaki went to Mdm Nagashi's house to borrow a ladder from her when one her light bulb had blown.She stated that her house had everything that a rich lady would have.'
'And every morning around 10am to 11 am, she will take a walk around the park.It was around 2pm when the witness jogged by and saw her body lying there.The police than arrived 1/2 hour later.'said Utsumi
'Why did the witness not stayed next to the body and wait till the police arrive?' asked Yukawa.
'According to the witness,he said that after he made the report, he felt a sudden urge to go to the toilet,which is quite a distance from the scene of crime.'explained Utsumi
'And it is quite impossible for another person or the murderer to come back and replace the body with a skeleton...and how on earth he or she get her skeleton?'added Utsumi
'Nothing is impossible,everything that happens has a reason....'
'Ok,ok..so how are you going to explain this?'said Utsumi,irritated
'Not a slightest clue' replied Yukawa,with a smile
Utsumi rolled her eyes
[At the scene of crime]'So,this is where the body was found' Utsumi pointed to the area marked with a chalk.
Yukawa walked towards the marked area and took a look.
'This Misa Nagashi was quite obese,I guess...' Yukawa said with a smile.
'...can't you give some basic respect for the dead?' scolded Utsumi,frowning
'What are her health records?'
'You are so rude!'
'No,I am being serious here'
Utsumi glared at him and said,'She have no health problems and she does not smoke or drink,but a neighbour told me that she had fainted a few months ago and he sent her to the hospital.But when she woke up, she requested to be discharged and insisted that she had fainted purely because she had forgotten to have her breakfast before exercising.She also refused to allow the doctor to do a full body checkup on her.'
'Ahh..I see...'
'Why do you want to know about her health status?'
'Oh,Just wanted to know...'
'...'
Yukawa walked around the area and suddenly,he noticed that there is a small glass bottle lying around the bush.In the bottle,there was a tiny piece of rock.He picked up the bottle and opened it.It smelled weird.But somehow,the smell smelt familiar and rang a dim bell in his mind.But he couldn't recall what the smell was.He quickly pocketed it as Utsumi walked towards him.
'Found anything interesting?' Utsumi queried
Yukawa stood up,looked around and replied,'Not yet'
He wandered around the area and went near the ralings,looking out to the sea.
He inhaled deeply and said,'mmm...the air here is so fresh...'
Utsumi glanced at his back and thought :"
=p >~<"Utsumi wandered around the crime scene and glanced around,she did not get a chance to scrutinize the scene in depth then as the police chief had disallowed her to do so.
She noticed a patch of weird stains on the floor around 100m away from the 'body'.
She found it rather familiar....
It seems that she had seen it somewhere before...
'OH!' exclaimed Utsumi
Yukawa turned and looked at her
'I think I had seen those stains when I was walking towards here! It was around the garbage chute near a factory!'
'Why is it found here too?' she wondered,puzzled
Yukawa walked towards her and examined those stains
'So..did you discover anything?' asked Utsumi
'I have not a slightest idea.Hahahaha...'

PrefaceThis fan-fiction blog was made as I really liked the show - Detective Galileo and I hoped to have a sequel to it the show. Ever since I had watched the show on television, I had become addicted to the plot of the story. When the show had ended, I was itching for more till I had realized that they had a movie starring the two main characters, Fukuyama and Shibasaki. I had even bought the book and had watched the movie! Therefore, the content from this blog is mostly based on my inspiration and if there's any similarity in any way to anybody, I'm sorry. This fan-fic is set after the drama and the movie. Stay in tune for more interesting details as as Yukawa and Utsumi solve their way through cases together and the ultimate mystery of all:

Synopsis
A murder had took place in Japan. And Utsumi Kaoru, a young impulsive policewoman who always uses her intuition to solve cases, took up the case. But the problem is, the body had become a skeleton in just half and hour after the report was made. The police suspects the witness was lying but Utsumi thought otherwise. As usual, Utsumi would go to Teito University, Physics Lab 13, to seek the help of the genius Physics Professor, Yukawa Manabu, a.k.a Detective Galileo.
Yukawa Manabu, a young and handsome but eccentric professor, who is not interested to assist the police in any investigation but would be always drawn to how the mystery happens. 2 years ago, his friend, Kusanagi Shunpei, introduced Utsumi to him and she has been pulling him in to aid her in her investigations since. About last year's Christmas, Yukawa saved Utsumi's life. This was because his ex-mentor had captured her and trapped her with a high-technology bomb that was set to bomb during Christmas day. And a few months later, Utsumi was on another murder case. Yukawa had found out that his genius friend, Ishigami had killed another person just to cover up his neighbor, Yusuko's unintentional murder of her ex-husband.
For now, let us see how Yukawa and Utsumi solve their way through cases together and the ultimate mystery of all: Love♥.
